Our mandate, the work that we do and the locations we work in require people from diverse backgrounds. A sensitivity and concern for nature and the lives of the rural poor and the ability to work with a larger group in difficult terrain are a must for anyone interested in joining us.
We have a strength of around 200 people, many of whom are post graduates with a varied academic background such as social sciences, rural management, forestry, and agriculture from premier development institutes such as the Institute of Rural Management, Anand; Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal; Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai; the Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi and Forest Research Institute, Dehradun.
We see ourselves as an organization that nurtures the interests of its staff, encourages the building of new skills and provides opportunities for training and further learning in an individual’s area of interest.
If you have an interest in contributing to efforts in ecological restoration in diverse and fragile ecosystems across the country and have the right attitude to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We also value the contributions that students from different institutes make to our work when they undertake assignments with us as a part of their course curriculum. Each year we host around twenty students from over half a dozen institutes from across the country and from abroad. Interested students may write to email@example.com
